A very pleasing and well written story. As a fan of most things paranormal, this book filled my need.Kat and Zach, the two protagonists, were cleverly written to play off each other and well as to spite each other. Then the author tosses in the demons; good and bad.
The twists kept coming and the action was superb. The author developed the characters, main and secondary, brought lots to the story.
I really liked this story and look forward to the next installments.

This is another great Paranormal story. This story revolves around good and bad demons. The Sentinel Demons were created to clean up the mess the gods created and to protect the humans from the Evils that want to take their Souls. Kat Larson is wanted by the Evils but she is saved by Sentinel Demon, Zachary Winston, while under his protection he recognized her as his “Radiant” The Sentinels have become aware that the evils are getting the souls of the protected and they must figure out how and stop them. I loved this story because it is not your typical paranormal story this one involves mythological gods and demons. J. S. Scott you never disappoint, I can’t wait for book #2 You need to put this series on you TBR list,
I really enjoyed the book, the characters were both interesting and fun despite the darker theme. I would suggest the book to anyone that enjoys a good paranormal romance.
No book is perfect, I have read the other reviews, needless to say I suggest you get the book and judge for yourself. I will get the other books in the series, I feel that writer and the character are worth the asking price for sure. Thanks for a fun read!!
I have to say that the detail that was put into this book blew me out of the water! It was a super hot nova read from the romance side not counting the twists and turns that happen as you read it.
One minute I was hating the main demon and the next wanting to trade places with his leading lady! LOL Not that is possible but this author writes in such a style it transports you into the story book as if you are the leading lady!

Such a great storyline, the characters suck you completely in and you can't help falling in love with them. There was nothing about this book that I didn't like. I cannot wait to read the next book!
A sentinel demon must protect his soul mate from his enemies.
There's a lot of sexual tension between Zach Winston and Kat Larsen. The premise of Scott's fictional universe--that sentinel demons were created to protect humankind after the gods of Mt. Olympus retired to the Elysian Fields and left people unprotected from the evil demons who desire to prey on them--is interesting and well thought out. So is the concept of "Radiants"--the fated mates that are the keepers of the sentinels' souls.
The fast pace and a carefully placed twists kept me reading. Also, for once, the bad guys ("Evils") of the series are actually pretty scary. I get a little tired of amazing heroes fighting powerful foes who turn out not to be so powerful after all. Scott's baddies turn up when you least expect it and cause lots of chaos.
Zach's brother demons are interesting--especially Hunter. When I finished this book, I immediately downloaded the other two.
Excellent paranormal romance.
This is the first book in what looks like another great JS Scott series. Even though it has demons, it's really about the bond between a man (demon) and a woman. I love it when it takes a real man to see the true beauty in a woman and leads her to see it for herself. The characters are developed and feel real. Although, this is a standalone book it introduces the characters for the next books in the series. It's a great story.
